Randy Pausch Last Lecture: Achieving Your Childhood Dreams

When i was making some “short research” about graduate program in Carnegie Mellon University – cause i want to go there SERIOUSLY and get my MBA degree from that institution – i found something interesting about this university. It’s not a facility or any kind of program which offered there. It’s about lecturing program that really inspiring, conducting by its professor and probably, this is the best lecturing video as i seen so far.

FYI, The guy who appeared here named Randy Pausch. He was an american professor of computer science, human-computer interaction and design at Carnegie Mellon University. In September 2006, he learned that he had pancreastic cancer and in August 2007 he was given a terminal diagnosis: “3 to 6 months of good health left”. He gave an upbeat lecture titled “The Last Lecture: Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams” on September 18, 2007, at Carnegie Mellon, which became so popular on Youtube and some mainstream media. You better check the video below to make sure that my words before are not just a bullsh*t :

Sad to be known, Randy Pausch died of complications from pancreatic cancer on July 25, 2008. But i think this video is the best legacy of him to share. Thanks Prof Pausch, your last lecturing inspired me to lead my life on the right way.

Brick walls are there for a reason: they let us prove how badly we want things – Randy Pausch

Kuliah Itu Tetap Penting
